Extra connector?

Does anyone recognize the unplugged connector in this center of this pic? It's behind the glove box, right side of firewall/fender area. About to button up the dash after lengthy a/c work and think I have every elec connection accounted for but this one. The glove box light is on the left side and its connector is in place. Nothing extra hanging around that looks like it should plug in here.

Any ideas?

Since these are global spec'd rigs, there are often unused connectors. If you have everything plugged in, don't worry about this. It is likely something for another market/variant.

But now I'm curious ... what was it for?? I'm always trying to figure out what all those "extra" connectors were for!

u might try identifying wire colors and trying to find in the FSM wiring diagrams
