While buttoning my 62 back up on Tuesday I saw my #1 intake hose starting to crack at the base of the nipple. I don't think there's a leak just yet, but given the original P/N 17881-61090 is long gone, I'm left with either the City Racer part or trying 17881-61110 (which comes from an FJ80's 3FE and MIGHT be close enough to fit, but $100 is a bit of a gamble to find out if a part will work or not, especially when you can't necessarily return it).

This leaves the City Racer part here Air Intake Hose #1 for Land Cruiser FJ62 - https://www.cityracerllc.com/collections/land-cruiser-60-series/products/air-intake-hose-1-for-land-cruiser-fj62 which on the site looks to be of good quality. Had anyone used it and can speak yae or nae for it?

It seems that everything City Racer sells is held in high regard - I don't have experience with this particular part, but I doubt you will be disappointed. You can use Shoe Goo as a temporary (or long term) fix on some air intake hoses.

I've installed about a dozen of them. They are good reproduction

Everything that Roger has reproduced and sells is of **very** high quality. Don't even question it.
Haven't heard a bad thing yet on anything else of his, so good to hear these hold up too.

I got the City Racer kit which is #1 (repro), #2 (OEM), plus 4 clamps when I noticed the typical cracks in my #2 hose. Very nice quality. Certainly recommend.
