Posted in the funny picture thread but it holds water in this one too....

Hijack off back to exhausts.... LOL

Custom sounds good, I need one too and can't find anything around Charlotte that's isn't a franchise with crap materials. Can they do it in 2 weeks though?

Seriosuly? Id figure with the racing industry and plenty of hot rod folks there would be an option. Look harder you must izzy

Good point. Some online hot rod forums would likely have the info you're looking for.

@Izzyandsue Contact Fatman fabrication and ask them if they know anyone.

Don't know hotrods, but have built a few race cars at a couple of shops over the years: "Mufflers? We don't need no stinking mufflers. We only need spark arestors and pipes extending 8" past bumper, maybe sound muffler for racing Sunday morning before noon at certain tracks like Roebling Road".
I was hoping to find a muffler shop, not a chain one that puts on aluminized crap. I guess those are long gone....

What he's saying is that in a town filled with lots of need for custom bent pipe there must also be some shops to meet the need.

Didn't Joe have some fancy mandrel bent SS exhaust on his olde 80? I think there was a guy here on MUD building some and Joe was a tester/purchased one. Can't remember if it was a good exhaust or what as I went underground about this same time :).

Jon, you might be thinking of the EMS exhaust systems that were all the rave a few years ago. Ask @jfz80 what he thinks about them

Yeah EMS made some good stuff eeeeeeeeeexxxxxxccccccceeeeeeeeppppppppptttttttt for their 1fz exhaust system.... that added to the fact that the owner just disappeared for months at a time.......

Yup long awaited but me too. So those riding behind me won't be in complete misery. Especially with Forrest is in front or me as well.

Ahhh the ExhaustMadeShitty saga

Good in theory and not sure id even say they made other model quality parts. His reputation is the same as he goes from one enthusiast geoup to the next after sinking his own ship. Supra>mr2>LC etc Seems to survive off daddys money but i will say quality was dependant on who his fabricator/welder was at the moment.

If you like warped flanges and ricer notes they were hot!

since you have a 94' here is my recommendation. remove your factory cats, muffler. you can keep your factory resonator or deleted it, depending on what sound you prefer.

purchase the following and go over to Henry's muffler and have them install the parts using as much of your factory pipe as possible.
2 x https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mpe-53956/overview/
1 x https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mpe-10768
1 x https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mpe-11236/overview/

watch them, make sure you tell them you are off-roading and want the system high and tight. if left to there own accord this will install it the most convenient way for them. This might limit your clearance on some obsolesces. They do good work, but they are not thinking about you climbing over rocks or potential getting high centered on a ledge.
