Ok, after falling asleep at the wheel while doing 65 mph down the highway the other night, then doing some spontaneous wheeling alongside the road, my exhaust is now worse than ever and needs replacing - pretty much the whole thing.
It's a 97 beater with supercharger if that makes any difference.
OEM is out - sorry Cdan - just no way to afford it.
Went to Midas - their quote was $3,200
Went to Meineke - their quote was $2,600
Everyone is telling me that you can't use the discount converters or use generic O2 sensors because of the OBDII.
That makes no sense as surely others have replaced their exhaust with after market prior to me.
I absolutely have to do this on the cheap and as of right now, my O2 sensor appear to be working ok.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas other than punting?
