The above sticker says "Toyota "F" type fire engine", "Type number, Equipment number 1024", "Output 115PS/3300rpm", and the "Designated (body?) number 320327".

Or something like that!

Thank you mot!! Any of this mean anything to anyone. Should I just assume it was from a donor in a diff market?
 
It could be a motor out of a forklift............
 
Yes, F engines were used for forklifts. :D
 
Sounds like it's an engine from one of these? Must be a replacement engine...

I was assuming that Toyota was saying it was a "Fire Engine" in that is uses spark (not compression) not that it was in a fire engine truck???

That does make for a much cooler story though!
 
I would think they actually meant a Fire Truck. The fire trucks there may have been exempt from smog therefore the sticker specifying the engine was for a fire truck. I looked at the pics I have of that truck and it did not have that sticker. So maybe my theory is full of air? :confused:
