I emailed him last week and haven't heard back... I'll keep pinging him.
Sorry for not responding to your email or posting the progress here.. We have about 20-30 more days left for the order to be completed.

Great news Ehsan!

Everyone, I got an email afterwards in which he says: "I am sorry for the delayed response. There is some Trojan Horse infecting my Windows.. Well.. About the progress. We have nearly completed the half doors and will start work on the tailgates and other stuff after that. So we are looking at about 20-30 days more for the completion of the order.. "

I am starting to put together the shipping plan. It will be to the port of Seattle, so Rodney, I will be asking for your help supervising the seperation of the container and the packing/shipping of the individual orders. ARB should approve this deal in the next week, and if so, processing will most likely be done at the new ARB warehouse (720 SW 34th Street, Renton, WA 98057). When things are confirmed I will send you a breakdown of the order.

Eshan is in the home stretch, so hang tight!

Just to review, here's a link to the shipping post: LINK, so start saving yer pennies!

Here's a reprint:

".....We do, however, have someone (Rodney aka bull) in Seattle who is willing to coordinate receiving the shipment and coordinating shipping to each of us. Seattle is not a main port (as LA, New York etc . are) so it will be a bit more expensive but still only $20-25 more per Cubic Meters (CBM).

Shipping per top should be around US$175-200 per top if we have 10+ tops.

Dimensions per top set are approximately 83-88lbs and approximately 5x2x1. Obviously there will be some variance with different combinations of items.

3 tops would fit in approx 1 cubic meter.

.... figure 10 days per top and up to a month for delivery."

I appreciate the offer to help if we need it!

The Khaki is tan (not green), similar to this:

Ehsan is trying to source a more durable black canvas, as of yet he hasn't, so the black canvas orders are in limbo.

According to him, the corrosion of the hardware has been addressed.

Paypal will work, just don't use paypal off a credit card as I will be subject to a 3% fee on the order... :)
I am really confused... in that pic of the red truck and canvas top, you say that is khaki... but it looks OD green... am I right?

Thank you for the answer to that.

Has everyone recieved their tops? What do you guys think? Pictures? I am getting on the next order presently and am very interested in how it all turned out!

OD Green

military khaki has a slight greenish hue, sometimes called pea-green khaki and is very often refered to as OD#3. the red cruiser may be an OD#3 ...in some lights it looks very Tan and others very green. My truck is an OD#7 a much darker green and it always looks green. OD#7 is the color most webbing and canvas come today.

LOL! Thanks!

We should have a pretty clear idea on completion & shipping early next week.

As I posted before, it shouldn't be more than $175-200 per top for shipping to Seattle.

When I hear back from him I'll start untangling everyone's order and figuring shipping to port a little more exact.

Please get your money ready now, because when it's ready to ship we'll have to act fast. For those of you without PayPal, get signed up now! For those of you who have tied your PayPal to a credit card, please chenge it to a bank account.

Rodney, you didn't PM me yet... :)

Going wheeling from Friday-Sunday...

i hope you guys are going to post your trucks with the new tops when you get them....i would love to see this many with oem soft tops....should make a forum dedicated to OEM soft top trucks. :)

Is it too late to get in on this order?

Yes. This order was started back in March of this year.

Here's The link for the most current order, which might also be closed, but it's your best bet. These orders take 6-12 months to process on average it seems.

I can't wait to see the canvas tops installed! I just ordered one and I'm already obsessing about it's arrival.

Okay gang, here's the latest as of last night:

Hello there!

Sorry for the delayed response. We have started the necessary paper work here. I have sent an inquiry to the shipping company. They will send me rates for sea shipping. I will let you know ASAP.

The work on the order is nearly complete (2-3 days from completion).

I will get the stuff packed once I have all of it at my place (2 days to pack).

Will get insurance on it, complete the papers and send it to the Port of Karachi (shipping via road to Karachi takes 3-4 days).

Clearance and wait time at the port for vessel departure should be 5-6 days.

Shipping from Karachi to Seattle estimated at 30-40 days.

Total estimated time to Seattle estimated at 42-55 days.

Thanks
Ehsan

There is a light at the end of the tunnel! As soon as Ehsan gets the shipping rates I'll post them up.

Rodney, you didn't PM me yet! :D

Should have we paid any shipping costs yet?

Vince
