Sorry to place this in tech, but I figured this would be the best place to post as the item in question is for the FZJ80. This person couldn't take my money, and if I can help, won't take anyone elses on here.

Item TRD Supercharger for 95 - 97 FZJ80

The short of it, purchased the NIB TRD unit for $2150... a good deal, too good! The seller did everything in his power to get me send/wire the money, even offered a total of $130 off, wouldn't accept any payment method that would have given me any recourse to obtain it back (despite listing Paypal), would not let me send anyone to pick it up in person. Definet scammer!

A BIG thanks to all the folks in the Georgia area who offered to check this deal out in person... Raventai, dd113, and CruisinGA.

Relisted... was located in Ellenwood Georgia, now located in Killington Vermont... Hey, that's only 1.5 hours from me! Now I can go pick it up.

How ironic....I just signed on here to ask Brian what happened because I saw it relisted and was thinking about bidding. Here's what he JUST sent me tonight:

That picture of the SC is a bit odd too. The kit comes with the blower in pieces that you have to assemble onto the truck. I can't imagine anyone actually putting it together just to take a picture (other than TRD maybe). If you take it off the truck, you have to take it off in pieces too.

Just wanted to make a comment about this post.

As an unwritten policy I usually move all ebay posts to the classified section and when there is a discussion about vendor possible scams etc they get moved to chat. In this case I’m leaving this here. Maybe it’s a bad decision, but it’s staying here for now.
