I have talked to the owner in person, it seems like a good platform but is over priced. A little more reasonably priced and it will sell and somebody will give it love. I just hope Mushro doesn't wind up with it.

Has the owner been informed that its overpriced? If so, what was his reaction?

Guess it wasn't too over priced:grinpimp: owner informed me he had a local offer for 10K and took it.

Having gone through two of these old girls now with rust issues, I would have gladly paid more up front for a solid looking body like the one in the auction.

I agree also when you have to completely restore the body it is well worth it to pay a couple of bucks extra up front for bunches of hours of metal fabing. Even with the good bodies there are still rust beetles hiding under the surface and don't get to them till you start tearing things apart.

And LV's are the worst. Their bodys are 10Xs more complicated to repair than all the nice flat surfaces on the on the 40's
