Need some help figuring out what mirrors I have in the pics.....the larger one is out of my 66LPB.....the smaller one was bought from a member on here. Just trying to determine what I have. I would guess the little one is a lot earlier....measures out at about 5 3/4". I figured if it was really early, it would have the sheet metal bracket. This one has the 3 hole setup.

both stems are possibly late '65- '66, however only the larger mirror head appears to be factory

A later '65 that I had (with a heater and side fresh air) had a 3 bolt mirror.

I do not have a parts book that covers '66 or '67, but I believe that the 3 bolt mirror style displayed in the original post was not offered past '66.

Prior to '65, the smaller 2 bolt mirror was the only one I have ever seen offered in parts catalogs.

Sean,
I've got a mishmash of mirrors.

Some are like in this posting with three bolt mounting.

Some have the simple short bracket with two bolts that look like what Dom has reproduced in a longer version.
And some a later version than both of these, but three mounting bolts.

All three are from before the later FJ40 style with the plastic mount cover.

For the benefit of us all, what are the years and styles used by Toyota?

That smaller mirror head offered in the first post appears to me as an aftermarket repair, possibly very common through a JCWhitney style catalog.

You can clearly see in the photo that it is removable, unlike any pre "67 mirror I have seen.
