Well the cat is out of the bag, a few of us were early adopters/late pre-production beta testers for @turbo8 and his new all aluminum skid plate system branded under his company E&E Off-Road.

I was drawn to this skid plate system because it was aluminum (60lbs) so it would keep the added weight to a minimum and because it was the most streamlined/cleanest flush belly design on the market. There's no exposed hardware, everything is completely flush and it all ties into itself from one panel/skid to the next. Access panels to both the oil pan drain plug as well as the oil filter helps aid in making your oil changes that much easier.
The transmission subframe is insanely stout, made from 1.75" thick 6061-T6 aluminum, the subframes are simply a work of art. To round it all out, all of the hardware is stainless, lord knows we don't need another thing to help accelerate rust under these pigs. The vented theft deterrent panels for the front cats is an added bonus as well and rumor has it that he will be releasing rear cat deterrent plates alongside of the t-case skid he is currently working on. The install took me roughly 3.5 hours to do solo, while completely on my back on the garage floor (this included removing the factory skid plates). If you prep the hardware with Loc-tite prior to the install and grasp a good understanding of how the system fits together prior to crawling underneath the truck one could easily cut an hour off of the install, possibly even more if you have access to a lift.
There are a few tweaks being made to the final version and the t-case skid should be an added option soon as well. I am happy to report that I have experienced zero noise/rattles/squeaks from the skid plates after driving over rough surface streets and on the highway at speeds of 70-75mph. IMHO this is one of the most thought out skid plate systems for the 200 series currently on the market. I know that some prefer the durability and ease of slide/glide of steel skid plates, but if you're looking for an insanely clean design and aluminum material to help keep the weight down then this is quite possibly the best skid plate option available to the 200 series community. Not to mention that it helps support a fellow 200 series owner and forum member.
I've added a few pics of my skid plates below both during and post install. I invite the other early adopters out there to add to this review along with their pics and opinions on the kit. I for one am grateful to finally have proper protection to the underside of my truck and I am proud to have these particular skid plates adorning the belly of my Cruiser.
