I am going to replace the Fuel Tank Protector Sub Assembly (tank skid) on my 2015 200. Just the metal skid. Anyone have a PDF of the instructions or know if there is anything tricky that would make this a multi-hour ordeal? Or is it as simple as it looks - just remove the bolts and bolt it back on? Want to prevent any surprises given this is my DD right now.

I took mine off when I replaced it with my Budbuilt skids. I don't remember anything difficult, just have some extensions to get the top mounting points iirc. If you're replacing it and you're worried about rust, get some Kroil and soak those little buggers while you get your tools ready.

Rust can make the difficult.

Does the process touch the fuel tank mounting straps at all? Or is the guard completely separate from the fuel tank?

Just 5 bolts it looks like. 15ft/lbs torque for them when re-installing.
