removing F engine and tranny from frame

today after a long inactivity time, we decided to remove axles and engine+tranny
as you can see the 71 frame have been cutting by a previous silly owner...(what the fxxx this man was f.....g doing !!!)

body have been sent to fabien ouachee workshop, teseven, where he 'll receive a new rear tube, completly original remanufactured by fabien

next time...
we 'll bring the original 63 frame, and 'll check what is missing...

i was forgetting the amount of time required to revival an oldtimer...but what an adventure !

Just found this thread. Nice project! This FJ 40 looks just like ours (1962). Is this an original french or european FJ40? When did they start importing FJ40's in europe?

I should be able to measure some things for you, but I don't know what you need to know exactly. Can you post a picture which size you need? I can't compare because our 71 and the 62 are not at the same location.

Waiting for time: can you tell me who the landcruiser parts supplier is you talked about? Do they know something about the early cruisers?
