The toybox works with a split tcase..
or were you saying something else?
Cool, a 203 has a seperate input seal on the 203 because it was bolted to a manual or an auto.... So I would assume it would work then correct?
I have my old PTO gear from when I installed the McNamera. I'll find it tomorrow and count the splines. Lets figgure this out Matt. Thanks for the help Mace.
Advanced makes the adapter plate.
Two 19-spline adapters are available:
The kicker is still how the oil seal works.
Yes and no. We have the adapter done but are still in the r&d stage. We are trying to find a better way to seal the atf from the gear drive t-case. We had problems on the first tacoma crawlers and don't want to go down that road agian. I don't have a eta yet but it will be on are web sight as soon as it is ready. Thanks
with the output style there are only 2 ways for the adapter to work.
1. A new output shaft to mimic the 203 input
2. A new input gear (like Marlin does with his adapters) for the 203.
If #1 is the truth, then I can see the issues, but if it works for both the 4 speed and the 5 speed the output shafts would have to be different.
If #2 is correct, you probably have to trim the output shaft down..
