Toyota OEM are no longer available. Just spoke to Dan and he said they are no longer manufactured and they are also out of stock.

Call BS if you want but call Cruiser Dan first. I'm not trying to make something up...
they don't make the "Best" quality set for my truck, 73, so it's back to the drawing board.
Ummm... I didn't call BS.You might want to read what I wrote. I said you were correct.
But, what I was curious about is what is the difference between a 73 door and a 71 door. Why would the weatherstripping from a 71 not work on a 73. The reason I ask is that I was under the impression the doors were the same until 1975.

Since it is possible to retrofit later doors, I'm pretty sure you could make the later model OEM rubber work on the earlier doors.
Seems like it would be worth $30 or whatever to check it out.
Call BS if you want but call Cruiser Dan first. I'm not trying to make something up I just need some good door rubber. C Dan was suprised too when he went to look them up, said he had sold them fairly recently. Toyota stopped making them and now the stock has been totally bought up at least for my similar door year. I also called CCOT to get a set of their "Best" and they don't make the "Best" quality set for my truck, 73, so it's back to the drawing board. I just got an Eshan top so I need to get something that goes all the way out to the edge of the door like OEM since my door edges strike close to the door frame there. BTW CCOT "Best" quality is 4x as expensive...and those guys still owe me money on several parts I had to return a month ago because they would not work.
I should ad my comments would only apply to 75 and up model, I don't mess with the older cruisers. I have no idea what door weatherstrip would be appropriate for early years, other than OEM.
Those of you who have used CDan, what is his telephone number, or does he have an e-mail address? Thanks, Steve

He's in New Mexico, so keep that in mind when you call.
