Hey guys, im looking at a set of ims at the moment but not super keen on a lift. Well at least nothing over 2inch. Will these still suit standard hight or a 1inch lift ect.

On my three, one is at ~1”, one is at ~1.5-2”, and one is at ~2-2.5”. The IMS (and MRA) work just fine, although you may not want the “extended” version of the front shock with minimal/no lift.

Yep. You can use them with stock height suspension if you'd like. The regular shocks suit up to 2" of lift.

Looking for pics of the non MRR and how they’re supposed to be put together up top where the shock is mounted to the body.

Sorry to revive this thread but did you ever
Mine came without bushings on the rear shock.

Do the shocks take the two rubber inserts? If so, why does the stock picture on dobinsons page show a different bushing?

Why would shocks come with lose bushings on the bottom?

Sorry to revive this but did you ever figure out if they just forgot to send the steel bushing insert or if they are supposed to be installed like this?

Amateur hour over here but the IMS front shocks lower mount are around 2mm too big to seat. Anyone else having this issue? Seems like most folks here installed it no problem.

It's possible your mounting tabs may have been bent inward for whatever shocks were used there in the past. Just flare them out a little to get the shocks in, but you probably already figured that out.

@crikeymike i bought IMS59-60782 a while back and have time to install. Am I missing a middle washer?

Thanks Mike, I have another question:

I am planning on purchasing Dobinson's UCA for the LC100 - is press fitting the ball join pretty straight forward? Can my Harbor Freight C-clamp BJP handle the job?

No that won't be strong enough most likely.

These come preassembled already.

When doing the UCA's:
install and then adjust the height PROPERLY! I'm exactly at 21.75" both sides hub to fender which is in the middle of the lift range of the UCA (had to reindex the stock TB).
Doing so makes wheel alignment super easy going. But if the height is off, if your torsion bars are sagging, ... --> alignment off. But that's not due to the UCAs, but only due to wrong adjustment of the height! Adjust height, drive around a bit, check again. And check again. And again
Heard a story that a friend of a friend made that mistake... :-D
