Shannon Campbell used to put a short leaf upside down on the top of his leaf packs, it would help with axle wrap. should also have the same effect with the long leafs upside down.

If the leaf is close to flat already, I say go for it. Use the re-arching method you posted before. I’ll be following. If I can get ahold of some stock fj40 front springs, I’ll do the same.
I have some stock 40 front springs if you want them. My dad is up in Denver quite a bit.
Just use a leaf that already has the eye flipped.
Or have Deaver make you a set.

Found this video, they are removing lift by “de-arching”. Pretty similar idea.
Leaf springs go through a heat treatment process. Heating them up like that would ruin them.What about maybe getting the whole leaf red hot and just c clamp it in reverse to the leaf pack with c clamp vise grips? Would probably need 3 people with 3 torches to get the whole leaf hot though.
