I think Rustolum Semi-gloss spray paint is about $3.68 at Walmart... I would think you would only need one can for the hardware.

Really? Paint the stainless bolts?!? How did this hardware talk started? Anyone don't like the stainless stuff they should just go get some black oxide bolts and be done! I don't get it!

BTW here is a shot of my LC up in Shaver Lake with my almost done bumper mounted! My 2 older kids and I went to spent the holiday weekend by the lake. Great time!

I used mine the other day to winch my dads 502 big block into his boat. No issues.

Shaver Lake

I know this may by off topic (actually it really is...). Your note about Shaver Lake just jogged a bunch of memories of me and my family going up to Huntington Lake for the Mile High Hobie Cat regatta (sponsored by the Fresno Hobie Cat fleet), second weekend of every August. We'd always look to see just how high the water level was at Shaver Lake as we motored on up to Huntington Lake for about a week and a half of camping, sailing, swimming, mountain biking and off roading. Good times!

Went wheeling today and needed to use the winch again to help an 80 series up a very steep rock face. No issues. Everything is perfect. Winching a very well built 80 up a rock face is a serious torture test to be sure. Passed with flying colors.

Bumper has arrived. Finally ordered my winch. Next I got to get the appropriaye tools and a friend to come spend a day with me to figure this out.

I'm not sure, the customer picked out the color. It should be mounted up this weekend so we will see if it matches. I'll post pics when it gets installed.
