I ordered the whole kit "raw uncoated" as I had a horrible experience with 4x4 labs and their powdercoat performance, which made me wish I had it done locally so that the warranty on the finish would be much easier to manage ...
... so that being said, where in Denver should I get the full kit powdercoated?

No, just placed the order. I’m setting my expectations that it’s a July delivery.
Have had my Dissent front bumper for 7 years and still very happy with their powder coat.
On the steel verses aluminum.
For the rear bumper the steel has survived huge hits that would damage aluminum. Big ledges and 100s rear departure angle make for huge hits back there.
My front skid plate is steel also for same reason, my Dissent aluminum middle skid plate has been bent and spent sometime in my press getting sorted out.
So I *finally* took my front bumper and skid plates (and my White Knuckle sliders) to the powdercoat shop, and called Dissent to see if they did any custom powdercoat colors, since I had the color codes for the work being done. Vince answered the phone but it sounded like he said "this is Ben" and I totally fanboi'd over the phone 
Anyway, they don't do any custom powdercoat colors, but y'all already knew that.
Can't wait to get these pieces on (and out of my garage), I've had them for over a year, and am tired of tripping over them!
