What would you like to see changed? And I'm not sure on the air bag sensors. What year is your 100? And do you have any pics of the sensor location? Both 100s iv done so far were 2000 with no sensors in the bumperThat is very nice and I would be interested as well. Few minor things I would like to see a bit different but my main concern is of course the AIR BAG SENSORS. What can you say about it?
I understand your concerns but I have been pretty hard on it with no body contact. That being said I will likely give the production bumper a little more clearance for that reason. You will notice that a custom bumper built on the truck will hug the body tighter than a production bumper. I do understand that no two vehicles are the exact same. Here are a few close ups of the clearance and the mounting. One of the 100 series bumper issues is frame to body flex.
I'd like to see a high-lift or rock lifting from a wing to see how it deflects. Similarly it would be nice to put a winch load on it both upward and downward and see how things flex.
I think it's a great looking bumper but as close as it is fit to the body I would like to see some load/deflection testing before I get too excited.
For now I'm starting with the front. I don't know if I will offer a rear because of how similar mine is to 4x4 labs. Luke already sells an awesome DIY rear bumper! Let me know if you would be interested in just a frontI'd do a DIY front and rear if you'd offer it.
