Put in some elbow grease today... Cleaned, dried, and applied Fluid Film to the undercarriage and cleaned up the engine bay. Sittin' pretty!

The ARB bumpers were a bit much for what ended up being a parallel parked city car and our only vehicle here in DC- I never intended for my wife to be driving a built Land Cruiser to drop off kids at a DC preschool and to commute in rush hour down K street in high heels to her downtown DC office building. Two things were supposed to happen when I bought and built this truck:

1) We were supposed to move to Virginia.
2) My wife was supposed to get herself a vehicle (or let me get her a vehicle).

Two years later, and neither of those things have happened- that's another discussion. A 3rd element came into play when our neighbor's property was sold last year and I lost the only work area on my block where I could work on this truck. As a result of these 3 realities, I decided to let the 200 move to a proper home and opted to get another 5th gen 4Runner for use as a city car and for light trail duty until we move, then I'll build up another trail dedicated Cruiser once we do move (70, 40, 60, 80, 55?). The sale also allowed me to free up a bit of cash for a Land Cruiser related nonprofit project I'm working on. So that's a big win.

Stay tuned!

PS- The 200s are absolutely amazing rigs and I'm very glad I had a chance to own one. She will be missed!
