I've tried searching the forum and internet but could not find anything on this question. I've seen the U.S. 200 series referred to as both the UZJ200 and the URJ200. What is the difference? Is there a list of model "codes" for the various US vs. International builds of the Land Cruiser? When shopping for parts and mods, the fitment can be vague so I am trying to learn the nuances as much as possible. Thank you.

I believe the UZJ200 has the 4.7L V8 (not offered in the US) and the URJ200 has the 5.7L V8. The VDJ200 is the diesel.

There's the GRJ200 as well.

And URJ202 which is the LX570 I believe.

EDIT: now I see reference to URJ201 and URJ202 so not sure the difference.

What is the 200 designation with the 4.0l V6?

According to PartSouq:

Land Cruiser:
GRJ200L - 4.0 1GR-FE
VDJ200L - 4.5 1VD-FTV
URJ202L - 4.6 1UR-FE
UZJ200L - 4.7 2UZ-FE
URJ200L - 5.7 3UR-FE

LX570:
VDJ201L - 4.5 1VD-FTV
URJ202R - 4.6 1UR-FE
URJ201L - 5.7 3UR-FE

Am I right to understand that the 200s with 4.X engines were only sold outside of the US? If so, is the chassis, body, hood, grill dimensions essentially the same across all 200s whether they are the 5.7 or 4.X models? Asking because I am looking at a grill for a 200 but the only photo I’ve seen is the grill on a foreign 200 with different bumpers from the factory.
