Better keep your eyes on the road (watched the video)
Looks great man! Now it's time to get a lot of new desktop pictures!
BTW, where's all the snow? Don't they measure snow in feet around there?
Hey Destin, softop door question, when you bought the weatherstrip kit from SOR, did it come with the weatherstrip channel? I'm guessing not but would like to know.. Thanks.
Destin,
saw the parking position of your wipers in the video....
is this the normal parking position ?
Mine are different, they rest horizontal to the windshild frame.
Cheers
Peter
Is the park position adjustable somewhere?
Let me know![]()
...you have two wiper motors, I only one, don`t know if it`s adjustable on yours.
We need John ( Living in the Past) he`s the Cruiser Guru
Found a pic , the wipers are parked on the left side, ( mine are on the right 1973)... would be easy in that position to fix the blades in the horizontal position , I think. *

* or the arms are different to 73 models & you can`t bring them in the horizontal position... ???
They are parked that way due to the status of the vehicle designation LHD or RHD.
There have been RHD wipers on LHD vehicles. Destin has them on right. The adjustability is where on the stud you mount the wiper arm at rest.
1973 had a completely different wiper setup with one motor and linkages on the top. That changed as well in 75 when it moved to the bottom of the WS. Furthermore on his model you really can't make them more vertical as the wiper will hit the WS on the ends.
Wes has some on his '64, have you tried contacting mot?
