Barlow Pass Rd is a cool place. Look for signs for the pioneer womans grave site off of hwy 35. Thats where it begins.

What is it like this time of year?
Are the trees dense enough to make snow cover ( hiding nasty technical sections potentially ) a problem?

Gonna head out today and do some trails, prolly go up to tillamook around browns camp etc. But if barlow trail is passable it might be an option :)

:D

Prolly burried still. We always did it in the summer as part of the Black Dog Dualsport ride.
Dont remember anything to technical...we were on dirtbikes though!
I am jealous your brave enuff to drive your rig down the highway...my 69 likes cruising about 40mph LOL.

haha awesome :)

Yeha i have never been on the trail ( barlow ) so I do not know what it is like :)
When it is passable hit me up and we will bomb around :)

Finally got the rig running awesome, cruises at 60 on the free way quietly and smoothly, was doing 50 mph up the grade to government camp ( it was kinda wet out so i error on slower == safer )

Might go out to tillamook OHV area today and hit some trials, they are all pretty mellow and fun over there :)

Have any suggestion off hand?

Did they finish those trails in washing ton for Yacolt burn?

simply beautiful Destin.

Oh we got stopped by the sheriff on the main Fireroad loop for not having a front licensee plate haha, but I think he basically wanted to check out the truck :)

haah yeah :)

Thanks man!

Next time we go with other peeps for sure.
There were some mad tight drops and turns when i walked down the trail about 200 feet at one point to check it out :)

Just did a power back up2 point turn around up a mellow side embankment and turned around :)

Now that the rig is running well we should meet up for the next trail ride ( with in reason of my abilities of course haha )

Fun day out, we should of had more video, but my buddy thought the camera was recording when it was not haha, fun all the same :)

haha I know right!

haha, we were having a blast, then we saw this rock out cropping ( which was not too bad, but had a two foot drop on one side.

haha, good times man :D

Super impressed with the pull on this motor though, we were crawling up some steep ass grades with not a stutter, and it is so crazy to see nothing but sky and trees until ya crest on the top haha
