Desmog caps

Just about ready to run my new vacuum lines, and haven't gleaned from the multitude of posts what or where fellow MUD desmoggers are procuring the caps for use on the smaller ports (e.g.; on the air filters box, secondary advance off the distributor for the HAC (now HAC-less), etc). Open for input. Worse case, short bit of tubing with a golf tee...ala "stick or rock in the hose hillbillly fix" described by Jim C for the desmogged exhaust fix .

Vacuum caps are available at any auto parts store. The big caps for the aircleaner can be purchased at most hardware stores. I got mine at Ace.

For the large tubes on the air cleaner I used crutch tips and maybe a little silicone. Got these from the hardware store.

for the large stuff on the air cleaner you can also buy the walking cane tips at walmart..they fit on mine perfect. for the small stuff most any auto parts store should have a selection of plugs/caps to use. The cheapo ones will not last long under the hot hood though so look around.
