SPACE IS NO LONGER FOR RENT - CLOSED THE BUSINESS IN OCT 2012 - I sure do miss that garage!

Well....I've been thinking about this for a long time, and finally decided to make it available to the Colorado Cruiser Community!

I'm guessing there are a bunch of Cruiser-heads and (Jeep) 4x4 guys (and women too!) in the Denver, CO area that want to be able to do light restorations, motor swaps, driveline mods....heck, even an oil change without having to have the tons of tools, and take up their entire garage or driveway for weeks at a time! Working with the large shop space, you'll never want to wrench in your garage again!!

Anyways....

I have a 5500sqft warehouse in central Denver, with drive-in and dock-high doors, 5000lb TOYOTA forklift, and about as many power tools, hand tools, wrenches, air compressors, welder - heck, you name it, I probably have it or can get it within reason. I've owned a trucking company a long time, and doing my own maintenance has saved me thousands...and it's allowed me to work on my own FJ40s and 80's myself and not having to pay high mechanic prices.

I'm looking to make available to rent-out 3/4 of my warehouse to friends on 'Mud, on an as-needed basis, who may need some space just to store their Cruiser Parts so their wives can have her side of the garage back and do your own mechanical work - I'll even help if my work is done and I can lend a hand!

If you want to restore your 40, do a diesel swap in your 55, lift your 60 or weld up sliders for your 80, I've got the shop space...and tools needed to get the job done YOURSELF - and it's a fun environment to wench on your stuff!

If this is of interest to anyone in the Denver, Colorado area - please PM or call me as I'd like to make it a place to bring people together with a common interest, have fun, drink and have an enjoyable time wrenching on your own truck or just helping a buddy with a tranny swap - and a central meet-up for parts swaps and trail-rides!

I find the Cruiser community is a generally great environment of like-minded, quality and capable people who like to wrench on their own stuff.

Here's some photos of my shop - If a lift is going to be an added tool that will be used and an asset, I'll consider installing one. I'm just trying to make the most fun and exciting use of my warehouse - with a group of folks that I enjoy spending time with.

Let me know if this is of interest to you!!

Thanks again, and I look forward to your replies-

Well....I just realized that the Pepsi machine has mustard in it!! I was wondering where that went!!

HAHAHAA - you've gotta love having kids work around the shop - there is a refrigerator in there too for REAL food.....and a BBQ grill too.

My son and daughter love being in the shop riding their bikes while we wrench on our stuff - it's a fun place to hang out!

You just can't crash the forklift....or scratch up some of the really cool rides that we ship sometime, or hit on my really cute receptionist!

Best,

Jeff

Very cool! Along these lines, does anybody along the front range rent paint booths? The 40 will eventually be repainted, but I don't have the space for it.

You should post this up on the rising sun site if you haven't already.

Hi Jeff - Are you still offering the space to others? Club Workshop closed their doors and I need a new place to work. It's not a jeep, but I have a pretty fun ride that I've been working on over the last few years.

Hi Jeff, I am looking for a space to restore a 1955 Westerner Camper. Would you entertain renting space for this project. It is a 13 foot trailer. Thanks for the consideration. Sharon

Jeff,
This would be a dream shop but I am not in Co :) But on a more serious note, talk to your attorney. The reason I am saying this is what happened to a Do-it-yourself auto shop in Vancouver BC. The shop owner had all customers sign a waiver in the event he/she is insured on site, you cannot sue him. Well guess what, some one was seriously injured and rumor had it lost a good deal of his blood. I can only imagine the customer was also permanently brain damaged. The customer, or his family took the shop owner to court. He lost based on the fact, he did not have a industrial first aid tenant or was him self trained in industrial first aid. So best to seek legal counsel first if you are going to have other people work in your shop.
