You guys prolly allready know this but I'm giving it a shot none the less. Took the 80 in to the local paintless dent repair today and had four really deep dents taken out of the truck for $350.00 and man what a job! Can't tell where they were to begin with. The tech did a great job and took only two hours. When he was done he pulled the truck out and handed me the key and we did a walk around. There was one more 1" dent in one of the 1/4 pannels and he asked me if I wanted that one taken care of as well. I told him I didn't have the funds to do all of the dings and he said he would do it for $20 bucks and have it done in 15 minutes. I handed him the key and it was done in 12 minutes. Fantastic job and I don't have to be ashamed of a dented 94 any more!:bounce:

well, how did he do it?

This thread is USELESS without (before-and-after) pics! ;)

I knew I was going to get th e"Pics" thing but I didn't think to do a before so what good does an after do? Plunge your self into a shallow mental state of mind and imagine, in your mind's eye, a crease in your 80's quarter pannel from a door opening on your sheet metal and think of it as being two inches long and 3/16ths to a quarter inch deep. Then slowly bring your self back to an alert state of mind and see the dent gone. There, better than a picture if you do it right because the tech in my shallow mental state has 36DD's and a sling shot on and I'm drinking a beer while I sit in my recliner and watch. They do it by sticking long flat bent pokers behind the sheet metal and gently tap out the dent from the inside and use slight pressure on the outside if needed. I was amazed how fast he did the last dent. Sorry about the "no photos"... won't happen again! Now... everyone back to their shallow mental state.

congrats on no mo dints

Ashamed of dents?!? I do not understand...
I am particularly fond of the dents up high on the body caused by rocks and trees.

Yeah, but do you have anything newer than say a 91'?

OK nitpickers. The small dent by the gas filler door is the smallest one of the bunch and is about 3/4 to 1 inch. The ones that were fixed were twice and a bunch deeper. Photos of the right and left sides. The dents were all high on the pannels like they were done by another truck or van door. There were none down low where I would think they would be done by car doors. Oh yah.......

:flipoff2:

I joke, I joke!
