I did DBA on my 200 series, honestly the money would've been better spent upgrading it to 2016+ calipers.
No issues with the centric (stoptech) rotors/pads on the 80. Got the painted ones. Also no issues with the slee SS hoses.
Any noticeable improvement in braking relative to the $$$$? I like the idea of DBA rotors but they are super pricey and I've never once overheated brakes on any vehicle (I drive relatively conservatively when it comes to braking, even when towing). I'll be needing new rotors soon and am debating OEM Toyota rotors vs. something else. My rig currently stops well with Bosch OE-style rotors and EBC Green brake pads.

Not really. I went with hawk LTS pads which sucked unless they were warm. I don't think I'd ever buy DBA again unless they're on sale.

Thanks, you saved me several hundred dollars. I'll just get OE Toyota rotors and stick with the EBC Green pads (which squealed like crazy until I greased the crap out of every contact point on the sides and back of them).

In Aus, picking up DBA rotors on sale has always been cheaper than getting OEM rotors from a Toyota dealer, or shipped from UAE.

I have been happy with the DBA, but do suspect what others have eluded to, the performance is not blisteringly different, and any decent quality new rotor with new pads is going to be an improvement over old worn stuff.
