Behold: The end result of 10 hours in the vehicle, $10 tree permit, 2.5 hours in the ER, and five stitches.
Food is ordered. I'm picking it up at 530 - but you're welcome to come over around 5 if you want. The food will be at the house by 6.
I live at the end of a large cul-de-sac and I'm the only house on it, so there will be ample room for parking.

Toys for Tots - simply a new toy still in the original packaging.
Just making sure!
Since this will be our first White Elephant/Toys for Tots xmas party, I'd like some clarification!
White Elephant gift - will this this be strictly for Land Cruisers or should we encompass just about anything under the sun? My wife was curious if she should find a gift that would also include the wives.
Also, this gift is for entertainment purposes, not an actual practical gift - from my past experience!
Toys for Tots - simply a new toy still in the original packaging. I suppose we should gift wrap it as well?
Just making sure!
Also, if anyone doesn't have my address yet please PM me for it. See you all tomorrow!
Ok, we did some research and the traditional "White Elephant Gift Exchange" goes something like this: First and foremost it's not supposed to be a conventional gift that you are giving to make a good impression or anything. It's supposed to be goofy, impractical, ugly even. Know that plate that says "Happy Mothers Day 1979" or the 10th mug crammed in to your kitchen cabinet with a bank logo OR that god awful tie that you just keep hanging onto for whatever reason? Those are perfect examples.
They MUST be wrapped, they go in a pile, everyone draws numbers. #1 picks a gift and DOES NOT unwrap it. #2 then has the choice of taking the gift #1 chose away from him OR choosing one from the pile. This goes on until all the gifts are spoken for and the unwrapping only happens then.
Preferably no money is spent on this but if you really can't find anything at home, I'd say no more than $5.
