We also have 1Louder who is sleeping in and will catch up in either Kingman or Beatty.

If someone wants to come over at 4:30 am, hook up my trailer, put remaining gear in my truck and then wake me up at 5:30 go for it!. :( Then I would only be like 45 min late! Only way I could do this is if I get my trailer hooked up Thursday night at hope some ahole doesn't break into it in the middle of the night. Maybe I can figure out a way to leave it in the garage hooked up with my garage door lowered and locked. Not that I live in a bad neighborhood but since we live so close to the 101 the thieves of the world troll all of these neighborhoods because they have quick escape routes.

Ok my whining will cease for at least as long as it takes to go walk my dogs!

We will see what happens.

Up until the last couple years about every Friday after work we would head north. Along highway 87 from the 300 road north a few miles when there was fresh snow in the winter we would see tents with with small camp fires just of the highway. We figure this is Boy Scouts earning a winter camping badge. You could always join them.

I'm going to bring all of my stuff and just sweat til I pass out!

We all rise early during the week, we all sit in traffic, we all have to hook our trailers up in the A.M. As Nike says , " Just do it" !!!!

Or get some of that Death Wish coffee and just don't sleep for 48 hours. ;)

Getting closer boys!....and girls. Looking forward to the trip. We will probably be playing catchup later in the day. I doubt we can get out early because of some work to do early in the morning. @Rudster , we have perused our driving options and will be bringing the 100 it appears. ;) Although, I reserve the right to change my mind at anytime.

It looks like we could hot have better weather. FWIW, the National Weather Service says "Thursday Night Through Washington's Birthday
Mostly clear. Lows 42 to 45 in the mountains...around 50 at furnace creek. Highs 62 to 65 in the mountains...79 to 82 at furnace creek."

@jclarke450 & @Dimples We are going to be in the 100, because it has airbags. I was tempted to take the 200, and I think Tina would rather be in the 200, but until I bag it, it will stay at home if we are taking the trailer.

So looking forward to this trip. Hopefully I can leave work behind, but man, there is so much to do! I might be packing all night Thursday!

See you all soon.

9. I need a hug
10. We will see you somewhere on Friday.

I know we talk about the gas situation and it looks like it is planned out well enough but is any bringing extra gas? I have a 5 gallon can I can bring.

I have no way to bring extra gas without it being inside the truck. So I'm hoping we don't cut it too close.

I'm bringing 10 gallons.

I am bringing a syphon hose and a tow strap and I never leave home without my plastic or some Benjamin's.

I think this crowd at 3am, forget it. Maybe Mr. Special should bring Depends or a piddle pack to avoid making us light sleepers think it is almost daylight.

Syphon is an open source Mac OS X plugin technology that allows applications to share frames - full frame rate video or stills - with one another in realtime, ...

Must be an IT thing not sure why you need it on the trail:meh:

I have @LandCruiserPhil on speed dial in case we need a rescue

Bring your AAA card

I plan to siphon gas out of your trucks while you're sleeping each night, therefore I'm not bringing any additional fuel.

(*did I say that out loud?)

Change of plans for me. I am not going to bring my trailer. I am going to borrow an OZ Tent. I just have to figure out how to carry my spare gas on the on the roof. Translation I will attempt to join the group at QT at 5:!5AM but will leave and then catch up again in Wickenburg.
