Brought over a 95 dyna LY151. Its a retired rural metro firetruck from bando Japan. Didn't really want a firetruck but a 95 garage queen with 5000miles no rust and all its maintenance records for 7k was too good to pass up.
Already ran table Mesa east to camp Creek with it for a shake down.
Gonna be replacing the bed with a aus style tray and canopy pod so if anyone has a double cab 2nd Gen Tacoma or tundra and want a nice low side truck bed it'll be available immediately.
But anyway it's a LY151
Thats A 3L Laser diesel engine on a Hilux chassis with an ifs front end.
Gonna be searching for a solid front to swap in eventually.
