Daughter taking my stock 2006 4 Runner to Fort Collins in August. She wants small lift and I am thinking simple 2" lift from Cruiser outfitters. then it will likely need some all season tires to match up with the lift.

Any recommendations outside of the OME lift from Cruiser Outfitters? How about some decent all season tires for her? I have owned several cars with the BFG AT's, what else is out there?

We lived in the mountains for 10 years and always ran snow tires in the winter, but I seriously doubt she will need anything like that in Ft. Collins.

If your springs are still in good shape, you may want to look at Bilstein 5100's. They have an adjustable spring perch on the front that allows for a 2" lift on stock springs. Pair that with a set of Dobinsons or OME rear springs, you should have a decent setup.

For tires, I've run 255/75/17 Duratracs (~32"), and 285/70/17 (~33") Wildpeak AT's with good success.

I've been really happy with the duratracs in 255/75r17 as well. Also running wheels spacers for a little bit wider stance. They do get pretty noisy when worn down in my experience, but I've always had excellent traction in all weather on and off road.

The Bilstein 6112/5160 setup is also a really good option in my experience, and not that much more than the 5100's.

@greenbeast

Just got my daughter a 4th gen as well, I’ve heard good things about dobinsons but there are a lot of options for the 4Runner.

Oh and if you guys need any help with anything, @PabloCruise and I are about 20mins away. Yes I’m signing him up 😂
@FJBen - you know this 4Runner…

Small world!
