I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem! My AC blows cold but not in the direction I want it to. The dash vents all fall towards the floor and won't stay where I position them. I guess they are worn. Has anyone found a fix for this besides jamming some paper in there to keep them upright? Thanks!

Pennies for the wealthier man, lol ;)

I also have a '94 and one of my center vents has a broken tab and that one aims at the floor but the others stay put. Perhaps add some official shims to tighten the old lady up and make things tight?

IIRC, yes. The last time I ordered any was last year.

Vents

TOOTHPICKS work well to. :)

Just buy new ones. The vents are broken on both of my 80's. I am about to replace them with new ones.

For the '94:

Center Vents - 55670-60010 MSRP $65.62
Left Side Vent - 55650-60010 MSRP $49.93
Right Side Vent - 55660-60010 MSRP $54.63
Crotch Cooler - 55680-89101 MSRP $18.58

Cheap Fix!

I'm going with the Dollar Bills cause I'm a baller. Pennies just look bad! Don't think many people will spend the money on new vents.

I used sticky felt pads which seem to work OK. My vent vanes were also pointing in weird directions, too. They're all connected in back by a strip of plastic with holes every ~1/2". A small zip tie cut to length and then drilled for the vane nibs works very well at getting them all to agree on a direction. Just a quick, easy, DIY-FYI.

that what I use .. just one side of it ( the soft side )
