Dash Gauge Plastic Cover (1 Viewer)

It has been awhile since I had the dash apart.....I went in 2 years ago to replace the D light.

Is the plastic cover a separate part?

I seem to have fuqered mine up using a certain cleaner.

plastic polish

There are new compounds that can polish the surface of plastic parts. works like a rubbing compound for paint. I did the same thing and now the clear plastic looks perfect again. I think I used something called plastic x??? can't remember the name.

I had the same issues with my plastic. I took the plastic polish, the same stuff they recommend for plastic headlamp covers, and spent about 30 mins polishing and buffing the marks out. Had it back to about 98% of new with one or two deep small marks still left in the corners.

Quite easy for not much $$$
