OEM parts arrived from Cruiser Corps.

Pulled the Clutch Master apart and found the usual rust.

Cleaned up nicely

All new parts installed and bench bled it.

Works great and doesn't leak.

Using the rig as a weekend driver around the neighborhood. Still getting all the little bugs worked out.

Worked on the neighbors shed and found the factory jack came in handy.

Welded some new studs in the spare tire carrier and mounted to spare tire.

Changed all the 90w fluids when I put the engine in. Been driving it around getting the little bugs worked out. The more I drive it, the more it seems like it has a locker in the rear end.

Nope, no locker

Pulled a spare from the selection of front differential spares.

Cleaned up gasket area and will be installing some evening this week.

What you don't like your diff oil chunky

Ever get a chance to go back and see the original owners? I recently did that with mine and the guy was so happy to see the 40 brought back to life.

I put a 2F in it while I'm rebuilding the F.5.

Been using it as a daily driver on the weekends.
Getting the little bugs worked out if everything.
Time to rebuild the front axle.

Tie Rod end are getting cleaned and new dust shield boots. Had to drill out a few brocken zerts.

Brakes were in great shape. They were set too tight and the springs were on wrong. I had to back them off 3 clicks to get the drums off.

Bought a Trail Tamer kit from George at Valley Hybrids / Can Am Cruisers.

Found the problem with the headlights. Two bad headlights.

I added some old school KC lights since the tabs were there. Haven't wired them yet.

Installed a pair of Bumperettes.

One needs straightened but it is a lot easier to do it while it is mounted on the rig.

I had a 74 Blazer that side-swiped a guardrail. I fixed everything but the lights wouldn't work.... yeah, the lights were on when it hit - two headlights and all was good.
