I have a 1980 HJ45 RHD in Texas and I'll be posting pics and stuff as I go through it and build it up to a Cruising Machine.

This is what she looked like when I went to pick her up and take her home. I got her up in Kansas City. I had been looking for one of these for a while and finally found one. She came to the United States from Australia around 2009 she had been rebuilt in Australia. When she came to the US she went to Arizona to a restoration shop to be restored. to make a long story short the company when bankrupt and thew her back to gather in a rush. The same thing happened again and after the second time the former owner sold it to a classic car dealer and that's when I came into the picture of this relics life.

The plan for this off road legend is to restore her and keep her as original as is reasonable. Also we will be making her stable for long road trip lots of overloading and as my Daily Driver. She Is also the logo for my company I'm about to launched called HJ Outdoors and so she must be keep in good shape for that.

Right now her currant state is very rough. She is getting a new wire harness cause the currant one is janky, with melted wires and lines that go no where. She also is getting a Vacuum pump and high output alternator. After she is running she will be getting a sound system and CB radio install. I have already install new headlights and turn signals along with some rust and floor repairs to keep water out.

Ill be posting soon with newer pictures and the process of repairing and upgrading her.
