Cutting an access whole in skids (1 Viewer)

Just got Victory skids, but after my first oil change, they got covered because the access whole doesn't line up with the oil.

The shop suggested cutting the access whole bigger. Any major issues with doing that?

Alternatively you could get something like a Fumoto valve. Since you have the skid plates there is less concern about it getting broken off. They even have some that have a nipple a hose can be attached to so it is really contained.
