Current state of the art for replacing sun visors from other donor vehicles?

Can you post a couple pics of your installation? I’m trying to install mine and it’s not really working out. I may have wrong visors or I’m just too dumb to figure it out.

Yoy may need to rotate the plate in the visor 180 deg.

Also there is a left and right visor plate

I rotated the mounts on the visors, and that’s where I was screwing up.

Both my plates are marked L

I installed 01-05 Lexus GS300 visors using outsane’s lx430 brackets and clips. The brackets and clips worked well. I bought new warning inserts for the 80 series visors not too long ago so put them on the new ones.

The gs300 must have a slightly different mounting angle than the 430 visors since there is a little contact with the headliner when opening to the side. Not a big deal.

The visors have the same issue where they need to be fully retracted for the light to work.

Nice, I may have to find a gs300 to make better plates. If the others become hard to find.

It would only need a slight adjustment to the angle. It fits perfectly besides that.

Question for @outsane….have you experimented with an “offset” visor clip that would allow the LS400 and other visors to be folded in the retracted position allowing the light to work.

I have, but so far renderings look terrible.
