Here is the DD box I'm using.

I did some testing with DD box. First I switched the output wire from 4 cylinder to 8 cylinder which didn't do any good due to not being able to get the RPMs low enough. So back to 4 cylinder and was able to knock the RPMs down and get 1900 at 70. Idle still looks good at about 600-800. I still have needle bounce below 1,000 RPMs for some reason. It comes and goes. There is another setting which is 8 cylinder high output but I didn't test that.
I also emailed Dakota Digital to see what they think.

I'm thinking the flywheel sensor is the way to go with this thing. It's way down the list for me though. Mine works well enough that I shouldnt be worrying about it. I seem to allways need a project.

Today I drove the 80 to and from work and shifted according to the tach. Upshifted around 2300 which dropped me down to around 1600. It felt like this was the sweet spot but I still want to use a tach meter when I recalibrate it again. The tach seemed like it was dialed in until I started fiddling with it again. The DD support team had me try some other setting but that lead to nothing so now I need to dial it back in. Should have left it alone.

I would measure the tires (from ground to center of hub). They are often very different than the manufacturers state they are.

I just got the email today and it isn't even available yet. Watching the video it looks like it just moves your fuel plate forward and back.

Repurposed the rear heater switch to hopefully use to switch between electric fan temp settings. I have an unused port next to where my coolant temp sensor switch is mounted. I want to reinstall my 185 degree switch next to my 195 degree switch and hopefully be able choose between them depending on seasons. If that doesn't plan out I will just rig up a simple on switch.
