Yeah that is pretty darn cool.........well Matt D is out so I'll be making the trip solo. However I will be bringing a friend and she's a nurse, so we will be covered for first aid.

Anyone leaving from the greenville area friday morning? I would like to caravan up, but if i have to......i'll go solo:frown:

Rick and Steen,

I am going to stop in Sylva on the way to the BP so I can pick up Yuengling for the weekend.

Only a few miles out of the way, and beer like that is worth the effort! :)

:) Looks like I'll be showing up Sat. morning...
Can't wait!

I'll make a run into Sylva with you... in search of Carolina Brewing Co. Seasonal Imperial Stout... now that's the nector of the gods!!!

Glad to see you are making it Sylvain!!

crossing my fingers for you Steen...hope that 40 is done today!

"Good but Slow"... that was the word... So far I can vouch for the "slow" part... but counting on the "good" once it's done! No worries though... bigger issues in life than a truck!

But... I do want to see that trailer show up at work today!!!

That works for me. We should have plenty of time. Although the route Delorme picks as the quickest goes through Cashiers and not up by Sylva. So you'll be going past the BP into Sylva or we can take a look-see in Cashiers for your nectar.

Cashiers is dry if I remember correctly.

Marshall.....will do. I'm actually going to be in g-ville tonight...just so we can leave on time.

Delima.

40 is not running perfect. I'm going to take it out on the highway tonight and see if I can get the bugs worked out. If I do drive it It will be more like a 3hr trip. Would like to leave around 8:30 if I do take it. If not we can leave around 9. Only thing is I would have to drive the JGC. Not my first pick but it's reliable and can haul a bunch of stuff.

When your working hard on running the club and taking care of a baby there is little time for wrenching. I have a bunch of stuff to do but no time.

Marshall... speaking of the JGC, I was very proud of my daughter... first thing she said when we pulled out of your driveway was "why does he have a jeep?"

See you in the morning!

LOL yeah thats a good one. I have been ridiculed on that one for some time now. It's been a good vehicle. Would buy a FJC if I had the funds but I just don't. Would be nice to be able to have a cruiser at all the events. But with a baby and a sinkhole budget trying to get the other two running well and no time it's just not going to happen. If I didn't wheeel the 40 it would probably be in good shape to make most trips. You know as well as me that wheeling a 30 yr old vehicle or even 40 years old as yours is on the trail things just don't hold together all the time. For each wheeling event my 40 makes there is at least 2 to 4hrs of maint involved.

I am leaving the SC 11/SC130 intersection for Cashiers sometime close to 0900 tomorrow. Can meet at BP on SC 11 in Salem for anyone who wants to caravan out of Upstate area/Clemson/wherever. Have GPS and think we can find the cabin. Plan to provision @ Ingles in Cashiers and on to cabin. Any takers? Ken @ 864 884 4586 or PM me.

I will put something Cruiser related out on the road to know where to turn off for the driveway to the cabin. Look for a silver JGC with a hitch and haul.

Spent 4 hrs today trying to get the cruiser running well. Put in a new electronic distributor. It runs pretty good considering I have dropped a valve. The 40 will be missed.
