ALERT!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT news!!!

Marshall's almost there. When turning onto Speedwell Road, off of Hwy #107,
it may be called Cullowee Mountain Road. At that intersection there
will be a baseball field.
I spoke with him via cellphone just minutes ago.
Ya'll have a fun, safe time and try to keep the carnage to a minimum.
Don't do anything I wouldn't do. :grinpimp:
Marshall may check in with me when he arrives, if so, I'll update.

Many thanks to Marshall and the UC Crew for setting this up and for being so welcoming to someone new to the club! It's obvious a lot of work went into the preparation and it really showed.

I *really* enjoyed the trails. To me, today was the essence of wheeling - great company, supercool vehicles, and amazing scenery.

It was great to meet you Ken - and Marshall, Chuck, Steve and Allie (sp?), Logan, Steve and Snuffy, Bill, and the folks we met up with today. I hope to see you all again soon at another UC event.

Thanks again!

This was a great first trip for me with UC. I have some good video of Sylvain doing a few wheel stands. Ali and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to other trips. I'll post up some pics hopefully tomorow. It was great meeting everyone.

whew, home at last-- hope everyone is arriving back safe soon. What a great trip! I always look foward to this one and this time was no exception. Great folks, good times and some incredible landscape to explore all make this one awesome trip. I hate that i didnt get to meet some of you guys in the cabin group, but there is always a next time.

Thanks everyone for making this another great event. I enjoyed meeting the new members and hanging out with everyone. Everything fell into place perfect and topped off with good friends and unbelievable views and great weather.

Andy came up yesterday and hung out with us at the cabin. He fished all day and caught a bunch of fish. We woke up this morning and explored the trails behind the house. The are very nice and not too technical. There are yet to be explored sections of the system. I would like to plan a trip up this summer. The river provides some great tubing. We could get the cabin and use it as home base. Go tubing, trail riding and camping and make it an event for the adults as well as all our kids. Basically a family event. I'll work on details later.

Thank you everyone in helping make this another great event.

Home and dry. TSLs, Merle, Waylon, and old Hank almost sang me to sleep.

Thanks Marshall and Rick for the great trip.
Thanks Joe, Ken, Dan and Logan for feeding me. . . Yeah!
601 if you can isolate a still of me launching out of the mudhole I'd use it for my avatar. I'm getting tired of the old family tartan.
Rick; where did you say the link for the maps to the trail system are?
Steve and Ali; I enjoyed running up with you, sorry it was such a confusion.
Logan, thanks for the air and the company down the mtn. Good luck at Va Tech, you're gonna make a great engineer. Follow up on that OBX trip.

Hope you camp slugabeds got pleasantly muddy this PM and escaped unscathed.

Kudos to our esteemed President for hooking up a great Cullowhee house to crash in. Man, that fire sure felt good last night after a long, chilly day fishing the Tuck!

The place is awesome, lots of land to explore, all the comforts of home and great scenery to boot! Might even need to lock the center diff in the front yard!! :grinpimp:

Thanks for letting me crash Sat. night and drink some cold  in front of a roaring fire. Always good to hang with Marshall and Chuck and it was also great to meet Steve, Ali and Jack!

I am definitely down for a summer trip to the Cullowhee Mountain Road compound!!

Had a blast all. This morning was a bit chilly, but it all worked out. Good times indeed! The camping group lost a few tires (lab601 and MTBHiker) but we recovered with spares and kept it going. LONG day on the trails yesterday.

I think I will go collapse now...oof.

Great trip once again. Thanks for the ride Dan. I have some pics and video that I'll post up later.

Great trip indeed! Very long day on the trails Saturday, but we all made it in one piece. Dave's got some awesome footage of everyone going thru the "Difficult Mud Ledge" and some humorous footage of his flat change. Dig Dug went airborne a WHEE bit. Tweaked the steering bottoming out on a rock on "Pinstripe Forest" (like Gotham did at Lithonia). Got a flat sliding off the campsite trail into some small trees (thru the sidewall)--hooray for lifetime warranties!

I'll post pics up in a few. Thanks again Marshall for planning this trip. Thanks to Jason for navigating. And thanks to all who joined us to make this adventure a heck of a lot of fun!
