Out of town until the end of July.
My 40 is scattered across my shop right now. Was hoping to be finished for this one, but one thing led to another. Guess I could have said I can't make it, I wouldn't have had to type as much 
Don't have a fleet of 40's to choose from?

Normally, competition drives me to go all out. However, my only hold up is that my welder/body guy has taken 2 months to weld 3 patches and knock out a few dents.
I have cleaned up the property in the mean time. One 20 yard dumpster and 4 trailers of scrap metal.

You are way ahead of me... I will be replacing the springs, shocks, shackles in the next two weeks. I went ahead and ordered the body mount bushings since now I have decided to pull off the body. I had sworned that I would not do that.
I also need to do some minor body work and paint - doing it myself though.
Throw the swimtrunks in the 40, and come out to the casa! The pool and beer fridge are fully stocked!
I will be there on the 21st in my 69.

I keep getting "i want to have it finished this sunday" . I have given up at this point and am going to paint it myself because i am sure as not going to wait another 4 months for one weekend of painting.

All of this paint and body talk has me me thinking about starting mine. Now that my mechanicals are out of the way(knock on wood), I might try the cosmetics now. I just enjoy driving it too much and don't want it sitting for who knows how long.
