No literally everything behind the wheel broke because of the wreckIs the broken knuckle/control arm from the wreck, or is that what caused the wreck?
Yeah, I am Very distraught over this. I’m hoping I can get it fixed. It’s my babyHeart breaking. I would be gutted as I looked for another one and only feel better after spending way more then I should on a my next one.
A semi with tractor trailer tried to get in my lane and side swiped me causing me to lose traction on the wet road. Resulting in a multi car accident. What actually happened?
It's not that beefy. One lower ball joint pops out and poofThe steering knuckle/control arm is beefy as hell, it must've taken a tremendous amount to force to have the wheels like that. What happened to the car you hit?

Google 3rd gen 4Runner 1st gen Tacoma lower ball joint failure. Not much force is required for all of those things to happen. Granted, the 100’s suspension design is better and beefier than those vehicles, but all it takes is for the LBJ to pop out and the rest is automatically toast without much force at all. LBJ pops, then ball pops out of tie rod end, then axle rips out of differential (or cv joint breaks).LBJ has to pop off, the tie rod has to break, and the axle has to get pulled out of its hub to have the wheel sit like that. Yeah it's a lot of force bro
The axle can pull out of the diff without much force. Tie rod may still be connectedLBJ has to pop off, the tie rod has to break, and the axle has to get pulled out of its hub to have the wheel sit like that. Yeah it's a lot of force bro
Yeah, and the 100 series IFS isn't the pinnacle of strength to begin with.Google 3rd gen 4Runner 1st gen Tacoma lower ball joint failure. Not much force is required for all of those things to happen. My guess would be the 18-wheeler sent him into the guardrail and the wheel caught one of those vertical posts that goes into the ground that the guardrail is bolted to. Pulled the front part of the tire out and "peeling" it backwards as the truck skidded forward.Okay fine, i still wanna see what he hit though to get it like that.
