I have been looking for a couple days for pics of custom fj45 beds or fj40 truggy pics.

I have a fj40 that is going to get cab corners and a bed. The fj45 beds are butt ass ugly and will not be on my rig.

I have seen a few tube buggies built over the years on a hot rod theme. I remember a couple having a tube bed that resembled an old stepside box when finished.

I would rather not just tube it up to look like a minitruck truggy or tube based buggy, not like a flatbed either, more like a longer slender tube bed with tube fenders on it to match my front tube fenders.

Any of you have any pics or links to the ol ratrod looking crawlers I mentioned? Or pics or links to any cruiser based rigs with interesting tube work behind the seats?

This one was making the rounds awhile back.

Ive seen that one also. lots on the net and in person too.

I am after the same look, but with tube and alum skins.

I want to do the top and angled rail out of tube and put a pair of fenders on it similar to a willys pickup but out of tube and sheet.

Keepem comin

So something like this?

I have a tubed out framework under my bed on my FJ40.5.

When my schedule allows it will be getting tubed fender skirts similar to the ones you can get for Jeeps.

Right now I have BushWacker Fender Flairs on it so the LEO's quite stopping me.

I went and got a load of DOM today and will be posting the pics of my tube bed very soon.

how about these?

That is By Far my favorite version of Kate but I think that was more like version 3.5. Either way I fairly sure it ended up as a pile of tube in several different places by the time it was all said and done.

MAN I LOVED KATE 2.0 ... Anyone know if she got rebuilt after all

Yeah, it is rebuilt. Big ass Cruiser on 44's up in AR.

Check Pirate under username Katesoffspring

Looked great and worked great in those pictures.....was a good version.

This tube bed fits the bill nicely.
