I wish my truck was all buttoned up ready for a trip...these conversions are slow when you can only work on it during the weeking

Well my truck is on its way! Had some snafus with the original trucking arrangement and my truck is going out without the other two cruisers. Aaron's truck and Greg's 80 left yesterday on a different carrier. Long story to be related at Moab!
I'm flying into Denver Sunday, getting a rental car and headed for Glenwood Springs for the night gonna meet some friends there. Should be in Moab sometime around noon/early afternoon Monday. Can't wait!

Yes, some serious logistical nightmares here...forced me take up drinking!
All set now, next stop, Moab!

Came down to the shop to tighten some things up before I split, and it seems I forgot to pack my sleeping bag
Looks like I'll have a bag to check...

You can buy a bag cheaper than checking one both ways.

Well boys what a week! Five solid days of wheeling and six nights of fireside drinking and camaraderie. Met a ton of new people and got a chance to put faces with names of people I've dealt with. Flights and transport out went well. Loaded up our three PA rigs yesterday for the ride home the truck left Moab about 9:30. Crusha and Aaron had left a bit earlier in their rental car to catch 4PM flights home and they made it with time to spare. I'm in CO another day, drove through a snowstorm in Telluride on my way out of Moab! Great country of course.
The trails were awesome, did six different trails and parts of Golden Spike. Trail leaders were knowledgeable and the runs well orchestrated at least the ones I was on. It was sure nice to sit in the middle of the pack and just listen to the spotter and trail leader for a change! I was on more extremely steep trails than I could ever have imagined, some of them short some of them really long. Nice to have low gears and good brakes! Didn't really scare Bob Bascom my passenger too often. Some scary sections along the edge of canyons and such and quite a bit of off-camber riding. Five great days! Will post some pics when I get home.

PICS!

Multiple pics in a day or two...

Great meeting all of you at moab! @shmukster your car carrier and i stopped off at the same rest stop on the way to moab on i70. They packed them on really tight!

Crusha, nice meeting you as well sir. If the other folks post up their screen names that would be great.

Bob is asking for one more glass of Metamucil!

Sounds like you guys had a great time. I will be on that bandwagon next year for sure. The wife and I were fortunate enough to get to tour the four corners on the bike just a month before Cruise Moab and can't wait to go back.

Looks awesome! Doing HIH this year, hoping to do Moab in 2017.
