I'll look up the roads on a map tonight. Just as easy to go 550 all the way to Durango.

So looking at the map, you can go through Farmington but i don't think it would save you much. Easier is to just go 550 to Durango to 160.

The Ali's will be at site #129 Fri and Sat nights.

I'll see you guys in Moab on Thursday after finishing up Kokopelli.

I think I'm signed up for Gold Bar Rim on Friday - not sure, never got a confirm.

I might need to scam a tent spot, or at least a parking spot at the campground Thursday and Friday night from someone if possible.

Who's bringing the toe nail paint?

Got a hotel room if you need it Juane--Friday and Saturday night.

Thanks Graham!

Juane -

Glad to hear that you can make it to Moab. We'll watch for you. Ellen and I will be at the Bowen Motel in the middle of town.

Looking forward to seeing you folks.
Assuming I can get out of town!
Six inches and still coming down hard.

Good thing you've got a Land Cruiser!

Isn't it great? It's been snowing lightly here all day, but it's not really adding up to much. But after the dry months we've had lately, we'll take any moisture we can get.

FYI, the latest Moab forecast I looked at sounded very pleasant - temps in the high 70's and SHHH! (no mention of wind) - I just didn't want to jinx it. The wind has been pretty insane this spring.

can we still purchase dinner and raffle tickets that night? Or do we need to pick them up earlier?

I hear there will be some sold at the dinner, but you'd better contact organizers to make sure you get a ticket.

You will be able to purchase raffle tickets right before the raffle.

What about dinner tickets?

A reminder for tomorrow morning. The convoy will be leaving from the north portal at 7:30 sharp. So get there at 7:15 or whatever time you need to get gassed up, use the restroom, etc.

We'll be watching for Pappy, Beowulf, Lurch, and Keith & family.

Moab or bust!

Gee. Thanks. I have not even begun to pack. At least it's just Moab for a motel weekend and not Baja camping for two weeks. Should be easy enough.

You all have fun and don't break down. I'm feeling green with envy.

Is there a run planned this month for the rest of us losers that won't be there? I have had too much for work going on, and now I want to take that ich I want to scratch and want to get on a trail. Hope everyone going has a great time. Don't forget to send pics!
