Why, it looks good to me? It's Friday that looks suspect, should have been Hells first!:D

I gotta master that clutch thing or Golden Crack is going to be jarring:bounce: .

I doubt you will have problems with it, but if you do, no worries we will be there to shoot plenty of carnage pix!;p

Thanks, Kevin! I knew I could count on your eye for photo ops.

We had one fun little wheel lift for the FJC's yesterday - this doesn't quite do it justice (as usual) but it was interesting...

I love that hill, going up is more fun!:D
Brittan drove his Taco up it, Sean ran his buggy up it, and I decided I'd wait till I do the A-Trac Hack (on the club wrench day itinerary).

That's Chris from the Trail Team taking an aggressive line across the crack. If you cross about two feet to the passenger with less angle you won't get the big tip, wheel lift.

Cruise moab is full!

However, the below is a cut and paste from the event thread:

Dave,

Sure! In fact, you don't need to register if you're not bringing a vehicle on the trail runs. If you would like to reserve a dinner and t-shirt (or more than one of each), we can send you a request for payment from PayPal for these items only.

If you'd like to volunteer in some capacity, like helping out with registration or tech inspection, that would be great too!

Feel free to make a reservation at Slickrock Campground as well, in the Cruise Moab section.

There will be plenty of open seats, and you'll have no lack of invitations to ride. You can certainly have a great time w/o bringing your own rig.

Matt

So, there are still opportunities...

Carl

Got my trail assignments:

Thursday: Fins&Things
Friday: Gold Bar Rim
Saturday: Poison Spider Mesa

I think I only got a single first choice.

I got my assignments, too

Thursday May 3rd: Golden Spike
Friday May 4th: Metal Masher
Saturday May 5th: Poison Spider Mesa

so, should I start whining about switching Golden Spike or just crash it on Saturday?

Mine are as follows:

Thursday May 3rd: Porcupine Rim
Friday May 4th: Fins & Things
Saturday May 5th: Cliff Hanger

I have mixed emotions on not having Golden Spike in there...

Carl

Well s***, it looks like I won't be on the trail with any of you on any day. :frown: That kinda sucks.

I got 2 of my first choices and one I didn't choose at all, but it sounds like a good trail.

Thursday Kane Creek Canyon 1st choice
Friday Steel Bender wasn't on my list
Saturday Golden Spike 1st choice

I hope I at least get to see some of you around. Looking forward to my trails! :bounce:

I'm in for the same as Kevin. We'll be with Carl on Thrusday and Saturday and Claudia on Friday. :) Missing Ross and Baggins all together. We're planning to be up there Tuesday night and taking a run on Wednesday. If you guys can arrive early, we can make it a CSC run.

I got my assignments as well..

thurs. may 3rd.....fins and things

Friday.....Porcupine rim

Sat..chicken corner

I will be getting there on Wednesday as well, if you guys get a run together, that would be cool

Hey Kevin,

Is your bumper done?

Gears in?

:grinpimp:

Sorry to hear that. I am looking forward to your impressions of the 37's.

The 37's work well, like them! Put some nice rock bites in them this last weekend.:D
