That guy is asking way too much imo. lots of bondo, lights don't match, cheapo tires, horrid interior wiring, non matching rims/spare. I've seen better gas 40's for $3k. $6k engine? don't think so.

looks new an clean , as you know having problems with my brakes put alot of fluid though them they are hard to see also

Its actually more of a pinkish color these days, but i never imagined that the color of my house would be a subject of discussion on an ih8mub forum.

I am the owner of this BJ40, and i'll answer questions in this thread.

The brake/clutch fluids are good (it must be the picture)

My interior wiring is not horrid, and this is not an fj40 with a diesel. It is a BJ40 LHD and that is worth something.

I think Phil was being funny. I think.

When I saw your ad I was impressed with the number and detail of the photos, and your remark about it needing a 'frame off resto'. From the pics it looks like a great truck to either drive as is or make a project out of. Yeah, it has some faults, but none of them is glossed over, and it is a 26 year old used vehicle after all. Good luck with the sale and if you still have or get more Cruisers feel free to come on back.

you need to go back to cruiser model spotting school phil, i see a 70 series, then i see a troopy,, but not a 70 series troopy, although on page 5 is a 78 series troopy, getting close.
