well, I don't want to digress from @macmann's well-intentioned thread, but I'm compelled to respond specifically on the Canavie assertion: it doesn't work perfectly (at least not yet) in my 2003 LC w/factory GEN-03 NAV. while the android-based features expand entertainment & access to vehicle info, it took extra effort (well beyond the installation videos) and risk of damaging electrical components (due to the lack of written installation instructions & connectivity guidance) to get it to work the way it does. my installation notes highlight the mysteries of the extra wires and some annoying (to me) functionality, and I've yet to receive technical guidance from the folks at Canavie that might resolve them.===========================
I bought a car multimedia for the land cruiser 100 with this console from the following link. it works with my car perfectly.
android autoradio headunit car multimedia head unit stereo gps lc100 toyota land cruiser 100 lx470 lexus lx 470 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007
so, please share what you did to get your installation to work *perfectly* and I'll volunteer to give it a try. If this all works, it might get others on the Forum to show more interest
[respond on this thread: Lexus/Toyota Factory Navigation to 10" screen upgrade]
