Constant 12v power source? (2 Viewers)

Hey all,

Looking for constant power somewhere within my '96 80 series-preferably in the rear. Basically, looking to wire up an aux map light in the cargo area and would love to be able to turn it on and off whether the truck is on or not. Thanks!

I ran a constant power lead from my battery to a Blue Sea fuse panel and ran the power to the rear.

US models don't have the extra fuse box under the hood.

If you are looking for the stock look you could do something like this:

Rear Cargo Light Install

Would like to know as well. Just got my dome ordered and bulbs from superbrightleds.com Install went very well and only took a couple of hours this afternoon. Thanks for all of the good info. Went ahead and stuck LED's in all three domes. Map light on order. --Mark

If you are looking for the stock look you could do something like this:
