When that spindle is done....

Pretty cool looking system and even uses your existing ARE shell.

Oh sheet, that is a game changer :) Thx for sharing - I have thougth a lot about how cool it would be to have something like this.

who made those sliders?

Sliders for my truck are from Stubbs Welding in CA - Richard Stubbs. His prices on the web could be a little higher than what he will quote you if you call him based on the cost of steel at the time of order.

Ended up having FAT press out and in the bearing and seals on my Hub Assembly. Charged me 1 hour of labor, which I thought was decent of them. Spoke with one of their mechanics - Steve there - great guy - he did the work.

Went with a cheapo new CV Axle from Advanced Autoparts with discount <$61. "Lifetime warranty" - - I will be testing that I am sure :) I figured I could buy 6 of them for the price of 1 Toyota CV, and I am getting pretty good at swapping them out. Jut got to remember to bring a big punch and some extra diff fluid with me on trips in addition to my standard tools :)

Napa's Cardone CV - may give it a try as my extra that I keep on the truck. Also a limited lifetime warranty.

Lost some diff fluid, so going to drain and replace - need to figure out what hex nut size that is so I can do so - I don't think I have it - i should buy a full set of larger 3/8" hexs.

Hopefully 3/8" - that is what I read on some other boards - -I will know more in an hour or so :)

Update - for the front diff 3/8 worked - prolly should be a 10mm.
